I earnestly don't believe this TURN does anything to fix what was wrong with the game.

I dislike the idea of DLC, free or otherwise, after their intended "ending" as a means to try and apologize since it implies they still think the original Liberation Day was a clever and well done game. I would rather they just stop Liberation Day all together and make a new game that isn't such a disaster but I know that it's beyond their budget. I get and respect that they're trying to clean up their mess, but that's it.
I mean, it's understandable you couldn't hook up with Cosette (looking like a kid, was a recurring antagonist for most of the series, and is apparently dead in canon) or Kryska (she's just happens to be a ryder pilot that doesn't have much development due to strong ties with the Alliance) But the game, even the kickstarter, implied that you could have dated and loved ANY of the 8 heroines and to cut back on two of them because of reasons and a lack of good story direction really grinds my gears. Hell, they couldn't even bother to bring a story route for each of the girls because they wanted to make one of them the shoe-horned psycho villainess. You don't just screw with fans like that. The main appeal was choosing our favorite girl like in other visual novels and trying to appease to her, only to get the ball dropped on us because "opps! Forgot to tell the people at steam that there's more to this story and we're switching to episodic format! Hope they don't mind or believe that we meant Liberation Day to be our last game!" So instead of getting a waifu, you simply get a discount based on like, say, alliance cruisers for being nice to Kryska?
